The Barra EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Romeu Borges stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Magnus Harlén's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Drottningens Parkväktare got a corner. Barra EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After a rather tough play, Barra EC's Válter Lopes got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Drottningens Parkväktare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Magnus Harlén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Ciuvică in the 31st minute of play forced Barra EC's goalkeeper Romeu Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeu Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Magnus Harlén in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Paraense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Gabino in the 52nd minute of play forced Barra EC's goalkeeper Romeu Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
