After 5 minutes, Cristian Peli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paunero and the Lose Yourself players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Paunero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Peli to maneuver through the defense. Victoriano Gasteiz, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Osvaldo Haritz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeo Ederono in the 10th minute. With a little luck, Lose Yourself's Osvaldo Haritz got control of the ball when Francesco Cilli tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute, Rosendo Matai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albino Inguma was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Francesco Cilli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Osvaldo Haritz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lose Yourself's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jose Rosario was slow to take the kick. During this time Paunero's players had a chance to rest. Paunero's Cristian Peli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Osvaldo Haritz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Osvaldo Haritz was a little too slow when Francesco Cilli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francesco Cilli got free with Osvaldo Haritz in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ata Cante got free with Osvaldo Haritz in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute Tadeo Ederono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Haritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Haritz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francesco Cilli in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Francesco Cilli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Osvaldo Haritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Iureș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeo Ederono made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Tadeo Ederono who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lose Yourself's Osvaldo Haritz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Francesco Cilli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Haritz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Aristide Iureș hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Paunero's Vinicio Palos was substituted for Cristian Peli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Cilli in the 62nd minute of play forced Lose Yourself's goalkeeper Osvaldo Haritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lose Yourself's Osvaldo Haritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Cilli in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Aristide Iureș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Haritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Ederono in the 67th minute of play forced Lose Yourself's goalkeeper Osvaldo Haritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Paunero's Aristide Iureș sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldo Haritz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 72 minutes of play, Paunero's Ata Cante made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldo Haritz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Francesco Cilli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paunero's supporters rose to their feet, but Francesco Cilli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Haritz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lose Yourself's Osvaldo Haritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Ederono in the 78th minute of play. When Elpidio Arce fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lose Yourself's protests and gave Elpidio Arce a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute, Elpidio Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldo Haritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Ederono, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Tadeo Ederono struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Osvaldo Haritz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paunero. Lose Yourself's Osvaldo Haritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristide Iureș in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Rosendo Matai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lose Yourself's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paunero the free kick. If Aristide Iureș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lose Yourself's zone, Francesco Cilli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Haritz came out of the goal and Francesco Cilli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, Francesco Cilli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osvaldo Haritz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Lose Yourself's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
