In the 11th minute Francisco Seco suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 11 minutes into the game, Serhan İbrahimoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SBİ HERCULES 42's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. Ahmet Sedat Mecit didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Zorita went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 40 minutes into the match, Fernando Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Sedat Mecit. SBİ HERCULES 42's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Serhan İbrahimoğlu hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When Uruguay's Fernando Zorita in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 52nd minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. SBİ HERCULES 42's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. SBİ HERCULES 42's Mehdi Eripek got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Mehdi Eripek off the ground. In the 90th minute, Maximiliano Escribano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Alberto Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Alberto Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uruguay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
