Adam Todoran made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petruț Zăhărescu couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Todoran saved ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 from getting behind. Gelu Pască kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uruguay walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
