After 10 played minutes ZLA FC got a freekick which was hit by Attila Polyák. In the 10th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Markos having to interfere. Cristian Sancho scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrik Markos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Zorita scored 0-4 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrik Markos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ZLA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brúnó Borsó didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pál Szénási in the 43rd minute of play. If Juan Sebastián Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ZLA FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pál Szénási was the one to do the kick off. Patrik Markos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, ZLA FC's goalkeeper Patrik Markos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Andino. Patrik Markos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Patrik Markos managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Patrik Markos was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krisztián Forgács, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrik Markos came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ZLA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pál Soós didn't get a good kick on the ball. ZLA FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Felix Montes scored to the left of an out of position Patrik Markos, making the score, 0-10. The ZLA FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
