In the 27th minute, Skarpa Ełk's 肖伟义 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, 肖伟义 notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 肖伟义. 肖伟义 might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skarpa Ełk. Marco Tamayo charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Tamayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Skarpa Ełk booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 肖伟义 was the one to do the kick off. 肖伟义 might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. But to his dismay, 肖伟义 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 61 minutes of play, Skarpa Ełk's Jonathan Ereinotz made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! 肖伟义 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. 65 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when 肖伟义 came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, 肖伟义 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skarpa Ełk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abram Luque during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Abram Luque got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Luis Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If 肖伟义 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, 肖伟义 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 肖伟义, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when 肖伟义 came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Skarpa Ełk's 肖伟义 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Zorita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Skarpa Ełk's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
