The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Milko Aubelj stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Primitivo Escribano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fajteri the free kick. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vojkan Lapuh came out and tried to block the shot, but Hector Covarrubias slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 95th minute.
