Honduras's Edmundo Espiga shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Krzysztof Dubiel but with some difficulty. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Mirza Memić managed to get in a good position for a shot. بني سويف's supporters rose to their feet, but Mirza Memić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Krzysztof Dubiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krzysztof Dubiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Felice Di Luca managed to get in a good position for a shot. بني سويف's supporters rose to their feet, but Felice Di Luca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horácio Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. After 43 played minutes بني سويف got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Gómez. Ingmar Lang was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Krzysztof Dubiel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 48th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. بني سويف's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Edmundo Espiga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but بني سويف's Krzysztof Dubiel did a great save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Krzysztof Dubiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 55th minute of the match. Esteban Carvallo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. A collision led to بني سويف getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Edmonds Fieldhouse hit a great ball. Edmonds Fieldhouse made in the 71st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tony Woodcock immediately put the ball in play. Krzysztof Dubiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Espinar in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Tony Woodcock reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lautaro Navarro. The goal made the score 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Horácio Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. بني سويف's supporters rose to their feet, but Horácio Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the match, بني سويف's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Krzysztof Dubiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentín Carvallo charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentín Carvallo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felice Di Luca, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. بني سويف's Krzysztof Dubiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 92nd minute of play. If Horácio Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The بني سويف players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
