With a little luck, Sparka & Spring BK's Tor Jonsson got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tor Jonsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Tor Jonsson made a huge save. A hard shot 38 in the game by Mariano Lacasa from a close distance when the talented Tor Jonsson managed to make a qualified save. Sparka & Spring BK's players were relieved. In the 39th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Tor Jonsson. Sparka & Spring BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sparka & Spring BK's goalkeeper Tor Jonsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Klas Sundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. Tor Jonsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Sparka & Spring BK's Tor Jonsson. Tor Jonsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 56 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tor Jonsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 61 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Sparka & Spring BK's Tor Jonsson. Tor Jonsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orlando Casaus in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tor Jonsson saved Sparka & Spring BK from getting behind. After 66 minutes, Mariano Lacasa made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sparka & Spring BK's Tor Jonsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tor Jonsson came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Örtendahl in the 72nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tor Jonsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Sparka & Spring BK's Tor Jonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 78th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Klas Sundin sent off a good shot on target. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harald Josefsson in the 82nd minute. Tor Jonsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Sparka & Spring BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Tor Jonsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alan Tamayo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Håkan Örtendahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chile's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
