The crowd rose to their feet as - HULKAS -'s Engin Akbatu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. Engin Akbatu struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for - HULKAS -. If Engin Akbatu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Engin Akbatu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Engin Akbatu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Engin Akbatu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ke Qi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Engin Akbatu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Engin Akbatu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Engin Akbatu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Engin Akbatu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Franz Corral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Engin Akbatu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Engin Akbatu got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Engin Akbatu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Engin Akbatu in the 55th managed to get into a good position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuz Cetin in the 62nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ke Qi was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 5-1. 72 minutes into the match, - HULKAS -'s Oğuz Cetin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oğuz Cetin scored 6-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuz Cetin in the 88th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Oğuz Cetin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The - HULKAS - fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. - HULKAS -'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
