Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Firmin Négrel came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Firmin Négrel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After a rather tough play, ANAHA FC's Jacob Rieu got a free kick in the 18th minute. Firmin Négrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play forced ANAHA FC's goalkeeper Firmin Négrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute of the match, Francisco Ibañez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Ibañez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Marc-Olivier Coq kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, ANAHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Firmin Négrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Firmin Négrel. 0-2. The ANAHA FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

53 minutes into the game, Francisco Ibañez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ANAHA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Firmin Négrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 56th minute of play. With his leg Firmin Négrel managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Francisco Ibañez came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the ANAHA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Ibañez couldn't finish the play. Firmin Négrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 68th minute of the match. Francisco Ibañez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. 71 minutes into the game, Francisco Ibañez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Firmin Négrel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 79th minute of play forced ANAHA FC's goalkeeper Firmin Négrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Georgescu in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Firmin Négrel however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of play forced ANAHA FC's goalkeeper Firmin Négrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho, in the 88th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 90th minute, Tanek Walczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firmin Négrel having to interfere.
