Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) ANAHA FC's Francisco Ibañez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Francisco Ibañez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Francisco Ibañez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute of the match, Ludovic Guillois got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 19 minutes, Cayetano Ponc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ANAHA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Ponc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Ludovic Guillois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ANAHA FC the free kick. The supporters of ANAHA FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ANAHA FC's Firmin Négrel. Firmin Négrel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Alex Chicote charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Chicote the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. ANAHA FC's Firmin Négrel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save ANAHA FC from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firmin Négrel having to interfere. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ANAHA FC's Dudu Georgescu was substituted for Francisco Ibañez. In the 71st minute, Ahmet Korkut Sinan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Firmin Négrel made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Venezuela booed when ANAHA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc-Olivier Coq didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Firmin Négrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Georgescu in the 82nd minute of play. Tanek Walczyk scored 1-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the game, Dudu Georgescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Firmin Négrel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 89th minute. After 91 minutes of play, ANAHA FC's Dudu Georgescu made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Georgescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute Dudu Georgescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
