El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Jorge Magrina with Jesus Carvallo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
