Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Carlo Ciccone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Stergios Koutsodimos sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play forced Villamarina AFC's goalkeeper Carlo Ciccone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Valentin Petrochenko took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Carlo Ciccone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Villamarina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo De Amicis. 26 minutes into the match, Villamarina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Carlo Ciccone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Kobe De Mees sent off a good shot on target. When Stergios Koutsodimos came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Villamarina AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stergios Koutsodimos couldn't finish the play. Carlo Ciccone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Petrochenko in the 39th minute of play. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Carlo Ciccone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stergios Koutsodimos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Villamarina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Sabatino. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Carlo Ciccone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Stergios Koutsodimos got free in front of the goal in the 86th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Julio Vera was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Carlo Ciccone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Carlo Ciccone made a huge save. The Villamarina AFC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
