Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Anibal Aritza came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th play minute Leonid Nazaria came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Julio Vera. 1-1. Anibal Aritza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anibal Aritza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorel Cretu. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anibal Aritza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play forced FC Truseni's goalkeeper Anibal Aritza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Truseni's Anibal Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play. Anibal Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonid Nazaria in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute, Tudor Buga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorel Cretu in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Truseni's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Aritza came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonid Nazaria in the 64th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Dorel Cretu put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. FC Truseni made a substitution. Sandu Perju replaced Tudor Buga. FC Truseni's Eugen Tabãrã was substituted for Radu Briceag. Anibal Aritza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 84 minute of play. FC Truseni made a substitution. George Pãduret replaced Dorel Cretu. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Anibal Aritza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador.
