Hector Covarrubiass short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got 柯挺光 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 柯挺光 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 35th minute. 柯挺光 was a little too slow when Jaime Pardo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. Paraguay walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
