Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, AFC Koolkerke's Christer Sunde got a free kick in the 2nd minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Semi Acartürk in the 6th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robertinho Carabajal in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ulises Steven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Steven having to interfere. Ulises Steven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of the match. After 24 minutes AFC Koolkerke's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven managed to reach the ball for a save. Alex Koit hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulises Steven. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robertinho Carabajal was the one to do the kick off. When Christer Sunde fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC Koolkerke's protests and gave Christer Sunde a yellow card for diving instead. Christer Sunde kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. AFC Koolkerke were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tang Di Nan took the corner. Tang Di Nan made a great header on AFC Koolkerke's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. After 68 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Semi Acartürk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Semi Acartürk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Smits in the 80th minute of play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Koolkerke's goalkeeper Ulises Steven, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 87 minutes AFC Koolkerke's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Joseph Smits managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Koolkerke's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Smits was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the game, Antonio Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Koolkerke the free kick. Tang Di Nan walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 97th minute, Tang Di Nan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The AFC Koolkerke fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
