Rosen Hvúrlev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balázs Földvári in the 16th minute. After 17 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gergely Baló was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gergely Baló having to make a save. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosen Hvúrlev in the 23rd minute of the match. The corner ended in Wang Jun Ang almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chile's Thiago Pliego did a great save. Diedrik Helsens hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gergely Baló having to make a save. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Gergely Baló didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gergely Baló prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rosen Hvúrlev made a kick off.
