Wawrzyniec Kisielka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Urban in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of 1. FC Krotoszyn booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ludomil Pilsudski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Krzysztof Sliwinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1. FC Krotoszyn's Krzysztof Sliwinski got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute.
