Tage Damm hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Wictor Mejling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play. Julio Vera had great luck who in the 18thth minute grab hold of the ball when Frans Hökkvist from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 19 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fritz Elg who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Thomás Nickerson advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Thomás Nickerson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 2-0. 33 minutes into the match, Bagarmossen's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Wictor Mejling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Jens-Åke Godholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bagarmossen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Åke Godholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Frans Hökkvist notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frans Hökkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Nickerson in the 50th minute of play. With a little luck, Bagarmossen's Wictor Mejling got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After 55 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Wictor Mejling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute. Frans Hökkvist struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bagarmossen. 66 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wictor Mejling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, Bagarmossen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Damm to maneuver through the defense. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Wictor Mejling made a huge save. Bagarmossen's Kent Norberg was substituted for Thomás Nickerson. Bagarmossen's Börje Westerberg was substituted for Frans Hökkvist. Bagarmossen's Wictor Mejling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Bagarmossen from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Bagarmossen's goalkeeper Wictor Mejling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 84th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. When Elazaro Lazaeta fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bagarmossen's protests and gave Elazaro Lazaeta a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Bagarmossen got a freekick which was hit by Elazaro Lazaeta. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Börje Westerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Börje Westerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
