Frans Hökkvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Frans Hökkvist slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Thomás Nickerson sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute, Bagarmossen's Frans Hökkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The supporters of Bagarmossen booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Frans Hökkvist came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Bagarmossen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frans Hökkvist couldn't finish the play. Gert Vik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Bagarmossen's Wictor Mejling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of play. Tor Fredriksson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute of play forced Bagarmossen's goalkeeper Wictor Mejling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wictor Mejling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jens-Åke Godholm succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 38th playminute. If Frans Hökkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 played minutes Bagarmossen got a freekick which was hit by Gert Vik. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frans Hökkvist was the one to do the kick off. After 60 minutes of play, Bagarmossen's Frans Hökkvist made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Frans Hökkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Frans Hökkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bagarmossen's Thomás Nickerson in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomás Nickerson in the 69th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomás Nickerson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bagarmossen's Erland Björkqvist was substituted for Tor Fredriksson. Bagarmossen made a substitution. Börje Westerberg replaced Frans Hökkvist. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Westerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Norberg in the 81st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Börje Westerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Westerberg in the 85th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Gert Vik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute Kent Norberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Bagarmossen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
