In the 11th minute Carl Tomasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Covarrubias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Kämpe having to interfere. Holger Brask received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tord Rydberg hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Paraguay's Jaime Pardo in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sandsjöfors FF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 31st minute, Carl Tomasson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacobo Nores. The goal made the score 2-1. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Ivan Prats got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute, Carl Tomasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xavier Zoido hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Tord Rydberg kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Holger Brask tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. Primitivo Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Edmund Kämpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 56 minutes, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Covarrubias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pardo couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the match, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmund Kämpe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Tord Rydberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandsjöfors FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. In the 74th match minute, Sandsjöfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Rydberg to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Pardo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Primitivo Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Edmund Kämpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Sandsjöfors FF were victorious despite being under pressure from Paraguay for much of the match.
