Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Raul Leal kicked off to start the match. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivo Guterres. Ivo Guterres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 12th minute of play forced SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Ivo Guterres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ivo Guterres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ivo Guterres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 23rd minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Nuno Bragança sent off a good shot on target. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Ivo Guterres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 30th minute of the match. Ivo Guterres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Gaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivo Guterres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Gaona ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivo Guterres was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. A collision led to SC Freiburg 09 getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Máximo Lameiras hit a great ball. Ivo Guterres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 45th minute of play. Abílio Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Raul Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute Abílio Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abílio Passos in the 67th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ivo Guterres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Abílio Passos came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivo Guterres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abílio Passos in the 85th minute of the match. If Nuno Bragança had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abílio Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere.
