Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gil Coelho came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 6th minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 9 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Gil Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Coelho having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Tadeu Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15th play minutes Joel Gaona shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Gil Coelho and just under the crossbar into goal. Gil Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Facundo Cadaval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Coelho having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Gil Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gil Coelho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gil Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Gil Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Gil Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jailson Batista to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, Luca Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Gil Coelho. Barcellos Mineiro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 62nd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Batista came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Percy Prestes hit a great ball. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Toninho Couto was substituted for Tadeu Guerra. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gernando Bueno was substituted for João Adolfo Hermes. In the 69th minute, Percy Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Cássio Montenegro's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Cássio Montenegro got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 80 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gil Coelho. Lautaro Mancebo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. 83 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Gil Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Manuel Antunes hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gil Coelho could save by the left post. 95 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gil Coelho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Mexico played a much better game than Barcellos Mineiro FC and deserved their victory. The Barcellos Mineiro FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
