An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 10th minute of play forced JoynickFC's goalkeeper André Sjöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of JoynickFC's André Sjöberg. André Sjöberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th match minute, JoynickFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Linquist to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Paul in the 15th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the JoynickFC defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Sjöberg. The JoynickFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Sjöberg should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Valentín Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Armando Paul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Armando Paul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Paul in the 31st minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Sjöberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milagros Cabal made in the 42nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sebastian Villa immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to JoynickFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Andy Linquist hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Aaron Snell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in JoynickFC's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Sjöberg came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute of the match, Edmundo Espiga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but André Sjöberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 62 minutes into the match, JoynickFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but André Sjöberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62ndth minute of the game Sebastian Villa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JoynickFC's André Sjöberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. JoynickFC's André Sjöberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save JoynickFC from getting a goal against them. JoynickFC's André Sjöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 65th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Ove Lindström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonny Brander made in the 83rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by D.J. Bobek. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. JoynickFC's André Sjöberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save JoynickFC from getting a goal against them. After 93 minutes of play, JoynickFC's D.J. Bobek made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Honduras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than JoynickFC throughout the match.
