Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 3 minutes, Victor Santxol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Surahammar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Santxol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victor Santxol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Raphael Moore made in the 7th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Surahammar's Mark Brovall. Jan Lindström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radamel Oakley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Pettersson in the 19th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Surahammar's Marco Day threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from André Pettersson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jan Lindström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Raphael Moore in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Surahammar's Markus Wallman. With an all-out effort, Surahammar's Marco Day threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from André Pettersson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 33 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Jan Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Lindström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zach Harrison, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Raphael Moore made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Surahammar's Markus Wallman. Jan Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Surahammar getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Markus Wallman hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Monty Rogers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Santxol was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Pettersson in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Surahammar's Jan Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 53rd minute of play. If André Pettersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Surahammar's Vincent Benett was substituted for Folke Skröder. 64 minutes into the game, Raphael Moore threw the ball into play from the sideline. Surahammar's Mark Brovall quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Edward Mcdonald kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Edward Mcdonald hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Pettersson in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Santxol came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Mcdonald got free with Jan Lindström in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Jan Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of USA booed when Surahammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radamel Oakley didn't get a good kick on the ball. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. After 79 played minutes Surahammar got a freekick which was hit by Radamel Oakley. Jan Lindström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jenson Smith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Sam Campbell could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Jan Lindström however easily saved by the left post. In the 88th minute of the match USA got a corner. Surahammar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jenson Smith ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Khalid Parry heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Victor Santxol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surahammar's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Santxol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute Marco Baker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Lindström made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target.
