Göta FC were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Curacao's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alf Dahlman took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alf Dahlman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bruno Barrett quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sebastian Qvarnström had several of the Curacao's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Bruno Barrett as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bruno Barrett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Magnus Grelsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 12 minute of play. Magnus Grelsson took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 20th minute, Kyle Davies got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Grelsson in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Qvarnström. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Sebastian Qvarnström tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Kyle Davies was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curacao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Göta FC the free kick. Joachim Sjögren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocco Owen to maneuver through the defense. After 43 minutes of play Curacao's Kyle Davies was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Kyle Davies kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Alf Dahlman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Alf Dahlman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Grelsson in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Magnus Grelsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 59th minute, Magnus Grelsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Göta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After a rather tough play, Göta FC's Jens-Erik Skräddare got a free kick in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Qvarnström in the 64th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Göta FC's Magnus Grelsson. But to his dismay, Magnus Grelsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. 9-0 became the score in the 71st minute when Sebastian Qvarnström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 74 minutes of play, Göta FC's Sebastian Qvarnström made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Grelsson in the 77th minute of play. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Qvarnström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alf Dahlman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bruno Barrett. Curacao's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Magnus Grelsson scored 11-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 87 minutes, Sebastian Qvarnström made it 12-0 with a short kick to the right side. Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Grelsson came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Göta FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
