An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Östman in the 25th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Swindon Sweden FF were awarded a corner. Brian Falck went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 27th match minute, Swindon Sweden FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Haglund to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Tino having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Swindon Sweden FF's Reynaldo Tino didn't even have to move. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Östman came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcus Östman to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Östman, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Brian Falck struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swindon Sweden FF. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Greger Hääger kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Marcus Östman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Östman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Swindon Sweden FF's Marcus Östman. But to his dismay, Marcus Östman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The supporters of Swindon Sweden FF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Östman scored 6-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 86 minutes, Marcus Östman made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
