Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Andres D'Alessandro got the match started through his kick off. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dinamo Colorado's attentive Augusto Alvarenga managed to snatch the ball when Joshua Secada made a throw-in in the 7th minute of the game. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Alvarenga hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Inácio Marquez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Pinho during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fernando Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Rafa Teixeira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafa Teixeira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Inácio Marquez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Inácio Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Inácio Marquez made a huge save. Dinamo Colorado were furious when Natã Tasso was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 54th minute, one of Dinamo Colorado:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dinamo Colorado. Inácio Marquez made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Pinho in the 62nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Pinho in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dinamo Colorado's Inácio Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 65th minute of play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Marquez having to interfere. Fernando Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rafa Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Fernando Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Fernando Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Patricio Costa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Inácio Marquez. That made the score 1-5 after 82 minutes of play. Dinamo Colorado's Wilian Alagoano was substituted for Fernando Pinho. After a rather tough play, Dinamo Colorado's Bolívar Colorado got a free kick in the 88th minute. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inácio Marquez having to make a save. Inácio Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 96th minute of play. In the 98th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Gisbert to maneuver through the defense.
