After 3 minutes, Iordache Jităreanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yboy Black and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Yboy Black's Iordache Jităreanu got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Yboy Black's Gheorghe Ţipirig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 4th minute of play. Iordache Jităreanu was shown his second yellow card after 9 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yboy Black fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Venezuela a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomas Illescas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Yboy Black's Gheorghe Ţipirig. 0-1. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Aron Ţintea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Lartaun during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Yboy Black was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Lartaun to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gheorghe Ţipirig was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 39th match minute, Yboy Black was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Ţintea to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aron Ţintea was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Yboy Black's Nistor Nedelciu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Gheorghe Ţipirig made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aron Ţintea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Lartaun was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Yboy Black getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Miguel Lartaun hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes Yboy Black got a freekick which was hit by Aron Ţintea. Gheorghe Ţipirig came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 74 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Gheorghe Ţipirig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Aron Ţintea fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yboy Black's protests and gave Aron Ţintea a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Cosmin Mardare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Cosmin Mardare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Yboy Black was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Ţintea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gheorghe Ţipirig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 91st minute of the match. The Venezuela players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
