A very good chance. When Ernso Constant came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Haiti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernso Constant couldn't finish the play. Witomir Glembin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gesner Philippe in the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Jean Marie Alcius got a free kick in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Philippe Ambroise managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haiti's supporters rose to their feet, but Philippe Ambroise was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Witomir Glembin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Sanocki's late challenge caught a Haiti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Sanocki helped the player get up and apologised. Miromir Hajduk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Noel Seide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tarnawce SSA's Daniel Sanocki got a free kick in the 68th minute. Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Witomir Glembin but with some difficulty. Leonard Jaroszewicz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Hugon Nalaskowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ernso Constant hit a great ball. Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ernso Constant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haiti's Jean Marie Alcius managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Waldemar Naumowicz in the 86 minute of the game. Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haiti's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
