Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Adán having to interfere. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Antonio Adán made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Tenorio in the 91st minute. After a rather tough play, Peru's Milagros Fraga got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
