Mané Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 4th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. At last the ball reached Luis Andino at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Hising Island FC. 0-1. In the 12th match minute, Hising Island FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olle Billström to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Olsmann kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Mané Netto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mané Netto. Mané Netto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. Mané Netto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 33 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Hising Island FC's Mané Netto. Mané Netto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mané Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hising Island FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mané Netto came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olle Billström's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olle Billström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Olle Billström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anthon Finman to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Hising Island FC's Mané Netto got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 56 minutes Hising Island FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Mané Netto made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute, Alvin Broberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mané Netto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andrzej Czech was slow to take the kick. During this time Hising Island FC's players had a chance to rest. Hising Island FC's Mané Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 87th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hising Island FC.
