The supporters of Panama booed when C. A. Rompelomo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Hermon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abelardo Hernandez came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Abraham Alguacil. But to his dismay, Abraham Alguacil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 54th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. C. A. Rompelomo's Roberto-Jose Ayala quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dylan Sarmiento, made in the 58th minute of the game. Abraham Alguacil didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-5 via right post in the game's 62nd minute. Panama's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After a rather tough play, Panama's Matthew Garrido got a free kick in the 65th minute. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Rompelomo's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Hernandez came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Abelardo Hernandez managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Panama's Miguel Miralles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Abelardo Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C. A. Rompelomo's attentive Roberto-Jose Ayala managed to snatch the ball when Jose Carita made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Miralles made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tomas Berganza immediately put the ball in play. In the 84th match minute, C. A. Rompelomo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto-Jose Ayala to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Hernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severiano Kimetz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 91 minutes into the match. Abelardo Hernandez went to the wrong direction when Abraham Alguacil was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Abelardo Hernandez was a little too slow when Tomas Berganza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-6. In the 99th minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match was over Panama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C. A. Rompelomo throughout the match.
