Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off. Intxixu Porregimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Cazalla in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Intxixu Porregimon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 6th minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. Mexilhão F. C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Arturo Carvallo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Intxixu Porregimon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 10 minutes, Arturo Carvallo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguay and the Mexilhão F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uruguay fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Intxixu Porregimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Germano Pernambucano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Intxixu Porregimon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Franco in the 18th minute of the match. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Germano Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Francisco Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexilhão F. C.'s Intxixu Porregimon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Germano Pernambucano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anaia Barba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anaia Barba fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexilhão F. C.'s protests and gave Anaia Barba a yellow card for diving instead. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Anaia Barba capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anaia Barba really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 37 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho Romero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexilhão F. C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Mexilhão F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldinho Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anaia Barba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Germano Pernambucano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Intxixu Porregimon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anaia Barba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Intxixu Porregimon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Intxixu Porregimon made a huge save. If Anaia Barba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anaia Barba succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexilhão F. C.'s Germano Pernambucano. But to his dismay, Germano Pernambucano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Intxixu Porregimon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. In the 79th minute, one of Uruguay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Uruguay. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anaia Barba in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Intxixu Porregimon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. The supporters of Mexilhão F. C. booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Sainz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Intxixu Porregimon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
