Joel Hibai ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Johan Ström to score against Rolando Noboa in Peru's goal. 1-0 after 11 minutes. In the 14th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Tammaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johan Ström's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johan Ström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Lunatics of Arianrhod was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Ström to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Cristoforo Tammaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristoforo Tammaro. Lunatics of Arianrhod's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luz Tejedor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Cristoforo Tammaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 28th minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elia Di Sipio, made in the 30th minute of the game. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Joel Hibai sent off a good shot on target. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Cristoforo Tammaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute Ernesto Martini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Joaquin Prats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Joel Hibai ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Elia Di Sipio hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Hibai made a kick off. Cristoforo Tammaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristoforo Tammaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Cristoforo Tammaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Hibai came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Lunatics of Arianrhod from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Julian Murillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristoforo Tammaro. That made the score 2-2 after 64 minutes of play. After 83 played minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Morelli. Rafael Gallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Cristoforo Tammaro made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Cristoforo Tammaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Gallo. After a rather tough play, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Felice Cirigliano got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 94th minute, Efraim Gilabert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lunatics of Arianrhod succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Peru had controlled the match.
