Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Zézinho Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 3rd match minute, Sport Club Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Pinho to maneuver through the defense. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Marcelo Gröhe. Sport Club Mavericks's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Zézinho Lopez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 19th minute Dre Schipmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Dre Schipmans sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Lopez in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Sport Club Mavericks's Zézinho Lopez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 36th minute of the match Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Gröhe skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dre Schipmans in the 44th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Dre Schipmans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Zézinho Lopez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Sport Club Mavericks made a substitution. Bater Noppe replaced Conrado Sanches. Sport Club Mavericks's Zhuo Yin Hong was substituted for Dre Schipmans. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Marcelo Gröhe made a huge save. After 63 minutes, Zhuo Yin Hong made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zézinho Lopez in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Marcelo Gröhe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 71st minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Lopez in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Sport Club Mavericks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Gröhe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sport Club Mavericks's Zézinho Lopez in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zhuo Yin Hong went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 97 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Zhuo Yin Hong came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sport Club Mavericks fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
