Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Abram Sarmiento made the kick off and thus started the match. 8 minutes into the match, Kevin Mastache notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno. Jeremias Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 10th match minute, ADM Taquaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Perez to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Malcolm Westerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 15th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliver Bierhoff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Oliver Bierhoff tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Oliver Bierhoff kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Bierhoff got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Luis Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Oliver Bierhoff fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pedro Manzanares, passed just outside the right post. Oliver Bierhoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, ADM Taquaras's Oliver Bierhoff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oliver Bierhoff to make the kick off. When Axel Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, Colombia's Kevin Mastache sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremias Moreno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute Oliver Bierhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Moreno made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Herberto Ribas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Herberto Ribas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herberto Ribas in the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Denílson Tepedino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Bierhoff in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Oliver Bierhoff made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Tepedino in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Colombia booed when ADM Taquaras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Jeremias Moreno made a huge save. ADM Taquaras's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
