Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW's Beniamin Sakowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Luca Zorita to score against Beniamin Sakowicz in GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW's goal. 0-1 after 14 minutes. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beniamin Sakowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 26th minute of play forced GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW's goalkeeper Beniamin Sakowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A very nice done corner allowed Facundo Cadaval to score against Beniamin Sakowicz in GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW's goal. 0-2 after 27 minutes. 30 minutes into the match, GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Beniamin Sakowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When Felix Luque fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Felix Luque a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mexico fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! Dante Lacasa went to the wrong direction when Eugeniusz Wallach was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miromir Majerowicz made a kick off. Beniamin Sakowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stasio Bienienda to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW's goalkeeper Beniamin Sakowicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beniamin Sakowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Beniamin Sakowicz in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, Luca Zorita had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 67 minutes into the game, Hugo Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Hugo Silva hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th match minute, GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Silva to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Stasio Bienienda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW's Mateusz Franzik was substituted for Hugo Silva. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 83rd minute of play forced GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW's goalkeeper Beniamin Sakowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW's goalkeeper Beniamin Sakowicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
