The crowd rose to their feet as Peanut Lord kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 3-2 in the 29 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peanut Lord got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute of the game Peanut Lord made a throw-in which Styrbjörn Nilsson played forward. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Styrbjörn Nilsson in the 37th minute. The supporters of Slipmaskinerna booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Indiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peanut Lord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peanut Lord, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Peanut Lord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, Peanut Lord cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zorion Carić made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Abram Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Peanut Lord's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Peanut Lord might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peanut Lord ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peanut Lord in the 72nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slipmaskinerna made a substitution. Dumetochukwu Evaggellopoulos replaced Styrbjörn Nilsson. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Slipmaskinerna made a substitution. In the 93rd minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zorion Carić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumetochukwu Evaggellopoulos in the 96th minute of the match. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
