Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cassius Byrne got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Komen Schotte got free with Marco Day in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gumersindo Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Boomer Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Gumersindo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Boniel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. After 17 played minutes Boomer Fc got a freekick which was hit by Bebeto Gaúcho. Gumersindo Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 19th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Komen Schotte took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Marco Day to make any attempt to save it. After 27 minutes of play, USA's Cassius Byrne made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gumersindo Moreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marco Boniel struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boomer Fc. After a defensive mix-up in Boomer Fc's zone, Edward Mcdonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gumersindo Moreira came out of the goal and Edward Mcdonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gumersindo Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Boniel in the 35th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Komen Schotte tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Brown to maneuver through the defense. Gumersindo Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Gumersindo Moreira made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Komen Schotte, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute.
