But to his dismay, Monty Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Edward Mcdonald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gumersindo Moreira. Boomer Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Mcdonald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Godofredo Vidal fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boomer Fc's protests and gave Godofredo Vidal a yellow card for diving instead. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Diego Bradley. The supporters of USA booed when Boomer Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Boniel in the 41st minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gumersindo Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 58th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cassius Byrne in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gumersindo Moreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Boniel in the 68th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boomer Fc made a substitution. Martino Vallejo replaced Xinto Torres. The Boomer Fc fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Boomer Fc's Yunus Akgün looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The throw-in from Sam Campbell in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Boomer Fc's Rudy Neefs. Edward Mcdonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gumersindo Moreira having to interfere. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. Gumersindo Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 85th minute of the match. Marco Baker who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Gumersindo Moreira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Despite being the better team, USA failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
