Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) USA's Cassius Byrne started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Remus Pinches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 6th minute of play forced Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Remus Pinches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Jenson Smith suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Carlos-Henrique Cabezudo fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diablos Rojos's protests and gave Carlos-Henrique Cabezudo a yellow card for diving instead. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Jenson Smith. A collision led to Diablos Rojos getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Carlos-Henrique Cabezudo hit a great ball. Remus Pinches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 13th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Jose-Antonio Capon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marco Day. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 29th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Pinches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match USA got a corner. Diablos Rojos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Diego Bradley heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Diablos Rojos's 唐沙旭 in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USA's goalie prevented a goal. After 38 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Diego Bradley. Diablos Rojos's attentive Carlos-Henrique Cabezudo managed to snatch the ball when Diego Bradley made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, 唐沙旭 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and 唐沙旭 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute 唐沙旭 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose-Antonio Capon in the 51st minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose-Antonio Capon in the 54th minute of play. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 唐沙旭 in the 60th minute of play. Diablos Rojos's Remus Pinches proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Diablos Rojos from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Jose-Antonio Capon came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cassius Byrne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diablos Rojos's Xuan Casillas was substituted for Xu Guang Peng. Diablos Rojos's Rene Sampedro was substituted for Marjan Bundash. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. After 71 minutes of play, Diablos Rojos's 唐沙旭 made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! 唐沙旭 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. After a defensive mix-up in Diablos Rojos's zone, Sam Campbell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remus Pinches came out of the goal and Sam Campbell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remus Pinches didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Monty Rogers went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Diablos Rojos's Remus Pinches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 90th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Baker came free, but Remus Pinches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Diablos Rojos players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
