Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Januš Fabjan went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Amedeo Bolognini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 9th minute of play. Behzat Mücip's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Behzat Mücip helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Akhisar spor getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Behzat Mücip hit a great ball. When Bayındır Mehmet Canalp came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Akhisar spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bayındır Mehmet Canalp couldn't finish the play. Bilgin Okanalp lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 26 played minutes Akhisar spor got a freekick which was hit by Bayındır Mehmet Canalp. Big Puiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Amedeo Bolognini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 38th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Akhisar spor's Big Puiu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 after 47 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Big Puiu made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Akhisar spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Big Puiu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 53rd minute of play forced Akhisar spor's goalkeeper Amedeo Bolognini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute of the match Costa Rica got a corner. Akhisar spor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Big Puiu kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When Januš Fabjan came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Akhisar spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Januš Fabjan couldn't finish the play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Big Puiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bayındır Mehmet Canalp in the 63rd minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Januš Fabjan in the 65th minute of play. Amedeo Bolognini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Big Puiu in the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Akhisar spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Behzat Mücip to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Big Puiu made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 79th play minutes Big Puiu shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Amedeo Bolognini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 96th minute, Ali Cengiz Cenap hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
