Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amadeu Prado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximiliano Escribano went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes in the game Mateus Novaes did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Túlio Santos. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Sport Club Mavericks's Zézinho Neto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mateus Novaes in the 19 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Bruno Beldad got a free kick in the 21st minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Zézinho Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zézinho Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amadeu Prado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 28th minute of play forced Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Amadeu Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sport Club Mavericks's Amadeu Prado. Amadeu Prado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 1-2 became the score in the 40th minute when Zézinho Neto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Sport Club Mavericks booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Beldad didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Sport Club Mavericks defense, Maximiliano Escribano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeu Prado. The Sport Club Mavericks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeu Prado should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute of the match Téo Guimarães shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amadeu Prado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 78th minute, Maximiliano Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ian Marinho during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Uruguay's attentive Alberto Gisbert managed to snatch the ball when Ian Marinho made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. Amadeu Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 90th minute of the match. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jorge Sainz hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Davi Rossi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Amadeu Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 98th minute of play. Uruguay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
