FC aDeX's Matei Oltean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 20th minute of play. Luz Tejedor took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matei Oltean. Matei Oltean dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Matei Oltean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 30th minute of play. FC aDeX's Matei Oltean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Peru booed when FC aDeX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Lendaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luz Tejedor shot from long distance after 35 played minutes, a shot that Matei Oltean with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Milagros Fraga ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in FC aDeX's zone, Milagros Fraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matei Oltean came out of the goal and Milagros Fraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

54 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Rana came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match Peru got a corner. FC aDeX's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 92nd minute of play forced FC aDeX's goalkeeper Matei Oltean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matei Oltean made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Rafael Gallo sent off a good shot on target.
