The supporters of Ecuador booed when Vaanila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yiğit Koçubey didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Elmeri Määttänen came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Vaanila fans jumped to their feet.
