Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Joel Gaona made the kick off and thus started the match. The corner ended in Deividas Mencendorfs almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. Daugirdas Burokas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 10th minute of the match. Daugirdas Burokas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 12th minute of play. After 20 minutes FC Alytus United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that FC Alytus United's Daugirdas Burokas managed to reach the ball for a save. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 21st minute. The corner led Mexico's Luca Rouco to fire away a dangerous shot which Daugirdas Burokas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauras Normantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. FC Alytus United's Daugirdas Burokas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 32nd minute of play. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Alytus United's Deividas Aukštakis got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Luca Zorita struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Daugirdas Burokas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 46th minute, Vilmer Röd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lauras Normantas made the kick off in the second half. Cafu Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Daugirdas Burokas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Lauras Normantas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Alytus United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. In the 56th minute, Lauras Normantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daugirdas Burokas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute Regimantas Šileikis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daavid Šembera in the 62nd minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daugirdas Burokas having to make a save. Joel Gaona hit a great ball. Facundo Cadaval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th match minute, FC Alytus United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deividas Aukštakis to maneuver through the defense. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Alytus United booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. The FC Alytus United players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
