Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 罗森天 having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 47 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Sancho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, 黄彬阳 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 【粤】胜利红人馆's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 51st minute, 黄彬阳 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 张斐松, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 罗森天 was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 60 minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 尹坚海 in the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 邵轩桦's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 邵轩桦 helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, 【粤】胜利红人馆 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 邵轩桦 to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but 罗森天 made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 陈义杰 during the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in 【粤】胜利红人馆's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 罗森天 came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 尹坚海 in the 94th minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 罗森天 came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 95th minute. Ecuador played a much better game than 【粤】胜利红人馆 and deserved their victory. The 【粤】胜利红人馆 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
