In the 13th minute 严康洲 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, 朱傲义 took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 朱傲义 in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when 严康洲 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 严康洲 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The supporters of 【粤】胜利红人馆 booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Fernando Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by 严康洲 in the 39th minute. After 40 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when 朱傲义 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 朱傲义 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 朱傲义 was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 朱傲义 in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Fernando Bastos made a huge save. When the referee ended the match the 【粤】胜利红人馆 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
